2. Scope

This policy applies to all employees, contractors, and stakeholders of Safetynet Solutions Ltd.

3. Definition of Whistleblowing

Whistleblowing is the act of reporting concerns about unethical, illegal, or improper conduct within the organization. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Fraud
  • Corruption
  • Health and safety violations
  • Environmental damage
  • Discrimination or harassment
  • Breach of company policies

All reports will be treated with the utmost confidentiality. The identity of the whistle-blower will be protected unless disclosure is required by law.

6. Protection Against Retaliation

Safetynet Solutions Ltd. prohibits any form of retaliation against individuals who report concerns in good faith. Any employee found to be retaliating against a whistle-blower will face disciplinary action.

7. Investigation Process

Upon receiving a report, the Compliance Officer will:

  • Acknowledge receipt of the report within 5 business days.
  • Conduct a preliminary assessment to determine the validity of the report.
  • Initiate a thorough investigation if the report is deemed credible.
  • Provide feedback to the whistle-blower on the outcome of the investigation unless the whistle-blower has chosen to remain anonymous.

8. False Reporting

Reports made maliciously or in bad faith will not be tolerated. Individuals found to be making false reports will face disciplinary action.

9. Review and Amendments

This policy will be reviewed annually and amended as necessary to ensure its effectiveness.
