SKYVISITOR.CLOUD Release Notes - Sprint 11 - 13/03/26
Summary
Minimal impact for most users. This Sprint 11 release is mainly bug fixes and reliability improvements across the Cloud Web Portal. Updates strengthen permission handling, improve visit-related email notifications, tighten check-in photo enforcement, and reduce confusing validation messages on the visitor input form
Key Updates
1. Permissions (Admin / User Management)
-
Improved reliability when saving user permissions.
-
Resolved cases where saving permissions could show a server error or behave inconsistently.
What this means for users: admins should now be able to assign permission groups without errors or uncertainty about whether changes saved.
2. Email Notifications
-
Fixed missing notifications for:
-
Host email after a visit is authorised
-
Visitor email after a visit is authorised (“Prebooked Visitor”)
-
What this means for users: hosts and visitors should now receive the expected emails after authorisation, improving communication and reducing manual follow-ups.
3. Check-In Photo Enforcement (Cloud Web Portal)
-
Tightened check-in rules where a visitor previously had a photo taken, but it was later deleted.
-
Check-in is now correctly blocked when a photo is required and no valid photo exists.
What this means for users: reception/check-in teams will be prevented from checking in visitors without the required photo, improving compliance and consistency.
4. Visitor Input Form Validation
-
Fixed incorrect validation that:
-
flagged completed fields as missing
-
incorrectly showed “Photo is required” messaging during submission in scenarios where it shouldn’t appear
-
What this means for users: clearer, more accurate prompts for visitors completing the form (Dev), with fewer confusing validation errors.
