Faceplate and Interface Changes to Surface Tablets

For replacements to client hardware

Following the release of the Surface PRO 8's there are some considerations that need to be made for any replacement hardware quoted for clients.

Surface PRO 7 and LOWER - USB B interface on the tablet, and older shape.

Surface PRO 8 and HIGHER - USB C interface on the tablet and newer shape with slimmer bezzles.

As a result, any new kit provided in place will require a replacement extension cable, USB hub & Bouncepad faceplate if a new PRO is provided from an older model.
