Why am I not receiving Email Notifications from SKYVISITOR?

If you are not receiving your email notifications, then you will most probably need to whitelist the MailChimp IP range. If your email delivery is protected by a Mimecast (or similar) service, it suspects emails from MailChimp to be spam. As such, it appears that Outlook for business may block the first attempt of the mail being sent but accepts following attempts to deliver the email.

You may have only recently started seeing this issue, as we have moved only recently moved our mail provider to MailChimp. This is to provide enhanced security, centralised our notifications, improve delivery rates, and potentially to be able to offer additional features to you when sending your notifications. Looking at being able to offer added value via other channels and more easily bespoked content.

We totally appreciate any frustration this intended improvement may have caused, where you have advanced email protection.

Essentially, we just need each side of the email notification process to 'trust' the other, and once this is in place the delays should be eradicated.

You may also need to whitelist the following domains:
@skyvisitor.com
@mandrillapp.com

If you wish to test this for yourself, you could add a personal email to the profile in question - via skyvisitor.com / System Users - such as a gmail, hotmail, icloud mail account, You would see that the notifications come thorugh immediately to that address, hirst delayed to the one with advanced protection.
